How to make toddler's snacks fun
July 20, 2022Make meals memorable
Mealtime for your child should be a pleasant time that he
really enjoys. Therefore, it is important to include different flavours and
textures in the snacks so that your child does not get used to only one type of
food. This way, he will discover new flavours.
In addition, this will help you identify what he likes the
most and will make your work in the kitchen easier!
Remember to include:
- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Nuts (if your child is not allergic, e.g. to nuts or peanuts)
- Whole grain (Quinoa, Oatmeal, corn, Popcorn)
- Protein (Yogurt, milk, peanut butter, cheese, egg)
And to drink…..
💧Water will always be the best beverage for children, they do
not need added sugars or processed beverages.
🥛Milk is also a good option either hot or cold, it depends on the weather and how your child likes to drink it.
On this occasion, this was Alice's snack
- 💧Water
- 🥛Yoghurt (If it is a sunny day, we recommend using ice packs to keep the beverage cool)
- 🥕Carrots
- 🥜Peanuts Butter
- 🍉Watermelon
