Are potatoes beneficial for toddlers?

The potato is a food to which many myths are attributed, for instance, that being a carbohydrate it influences us to gain weight. However, we ignore that there are many more benefits that this product can bring to our health from our first years of life.
Mashed potato with broccoli 🥔🥦
This pure can be
made as lunch or for your little one's dinner.
You only need:
- 5 potatoes
- Broccoli
- Butter
- Milk (what your child normally drinks)
- Cheese (the one you have at home and the one your child has tried before)
In a steamer put
the water to heat, meanwhile peel the potatoes and cut them into small squares
so that they are faster. Once the water is boiling put the potatoes to cook for
approximately 15 minutes. There you can also include the broccoli to cook
during the last minutes of the potato cooking time.
With a knife or
a fork check that the potatoes are soft, if they are soft remove them from the
pot, pour them into a bowl and start mashing the potatoes. Add half a
tablespoon of butter and half a glass of milk to make the mashed potatoes
smooth.
You can finely
chop the broccoli 🥦 and add it to the mashed potatoes. 🥔
Finally, grate
the cheese, you can stir it into the mashed potatoes or put it on top as
decoration (it depends on your creativity).
