Make a combination of vegetables and cereal

Rice with zuchinni




Rice will always be a quick and easy option to make, not only for your little one but also for the whole family.

This cereal has great nutritional value and is easy to combine with any other food. For example, chicken, tuna, carrots, peas, beans and so on. Today we will combine it with zucchini which is a vegetable that does not require much cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Rice
  • ½ cup of Quinoa
  • 1 cup of zucchini graded
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt
  • 3 cups of water

Directions

In a pot (in this case, I used a rice cooker) put the two tablespoons of olive oil to heat. Then add the quinoa and toast it for 2 minutes, it is important to stir it frequently so it doesn't burn. 

Add the rice and salt, continue stirring and add the previously grated zucchini. Finally, add the water and let it cook for about 20 minutes, if it is in a normal pot but if you do it in a rice cooker once the button indicates that it is ready. 


Time of preparation: 25 min approx.
